flatbread pizza (my take on Lyn's)
Not sure why I could never come up with something like this. Well, it's probably because I'm no good in the kitchen. My meals consist of anything I can just stick in a pan and heat up. Lyn (florspace) showed us a simple pizza-deal like this awhile ago and I finally did it myself. It was so easy and so good that I could happily make it every day.
Here's what I used, and in the order I used it:
-flatbread (this one was from Target for $4)
-chunky mushroom Ragu (the more mushrooms I can have, the better)
-deli thin mozzarella slices
-thinly sliced fresh mushrooms
-grilled chicken, cut into small pieces
-shredded mozzarella to top it all off
Then I had no idea how long to cook it so this was a guess:
20 minutes at 450
I'd say it took about 18 minutes, but that extra 2 would have been fine, I was just starving and drooling.
This made enough for my husband and me, we cut it into 6 pieces for easier eating.
I was so proud of myself that I immediately grabbed the camera as I was making it. Look, I cooked something!

He's all done! Next one will be painted with acrylics and maybe a spray paint base, and it won't be a famous icon, just something from my own lil head.

After I started this guy, I found 2 or 3 KFC Munnys other people had done. I knew the idea wasn't original, but I was kinda disheartened when I saw the others. Work kinda stopped on mine. They're all different but I just don't like re-doing things.
I just got an order of Sharpie paint markers on Monday so I will finish him soon.

Yay new shelves!
Yay new shelves!

My dear husband bought me the shelves I've been wanting for my craft room, and today he put them up along with the spool rod. I spent 3 hours in there tonight, deciding what to put on them and I'm sure it'll all change again this week. I love organizing!

I finally made something! I haven't done anything in a long time, so today I decided to get off my rump and make a "vintage" cone. I made it for my mom, but it's going to be hard to give away!

Over 2 months, again?!?
I never posted about my fall scrapbook kit, well...here it is! It's called Apple Pickin' and includes the paper kit, chipboard, rub-ons and sticky ribbon
I really like this collection, but my favorite part, the scarecrow, is only on a couple things. I really wish I could have done stamps for this set.

Over 2 months??
Had an anniversary (1 year!), received my 2 (yes 2) cases of JLed Finders Keepers (see post below), made $250 at my mom's garage sale last weekend, that's about it.
I have 2 swaps to put together and send very soon, one is Halloween and the other is Apples, they're both from a group on Flickr. I can't wait for these because I've only done one swap, and these have 3 swap-partners each! I need to get crackin on the little felt ornaments I'm sending with the swaps.
Been wanting to take pictures of new goodies I've bought for Halloween, I suppose I'll just wait until I decorate now. I think I'll start tonight because all my new things are calling to me!
Here's my Skull paper set for work. I'm kinda disappointed in the the quality we're getting but I can't do much about it. (pictures courtesy of OTC's website)

Kill me now
Release date: August 30th
16 figures
20 to a case/blind boxed of course
So, I really should plan to buy 2 cases, right? omg.
They're showing 3 styles in 2 colorways here. That makes me think there are 8 styles/2 colorways. So, do I really need 2 cases if there aren't 16 different-style figures? What are they not showing us?? AHHHHH!!

43 days to go. :faint:

My current favorite artist

And he has toys...
His original paintings are going for up to $2500, I'd give my left arm for one. I wish I could go to gallery showings in CA and at least see them, that'd make me happy.

Long time no post...
ribbon jar
Originally uploaded by gtcowgirl.
I had to share this picture of a tiny part of my ribbon stash. I took the photo so I could show it to a buyer at work. The ribbon spools and Ball canning jar are from Michael's, they are hard to resist! I only have 10 different spools, but the store had at least 100! Aren't they adorable?
